ADHD juga menjelma dalam pemikiran individu dan menjejaskan fungsi eksekutif. Gejala tersembunyi ini menjadikannya lebih mencabar untuk didiagnosis.<br>Salah Faham #3: Orang yang mempunyai ADHD adalah pemalasIni tidak benar. Orang yang mempunyai ADHD berusaha keras untuk menyelesaikan kerja mereka. Keadaan ADHD yang menghalang mereka daripada menyampaikan kerja terbaik kerana tumpuan senang diperalihkan. Keupayaan otak untuk memberi perhatian, memperlahankan, dan bersabar memburukkan lagi masalah ini.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Siapa yang terjejas?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sesiapa sahaja boleh terjejas oleh ADHD! Walaupun kebanyakan yang didiagnosis dengan ADHD adalah kanak-kanak, ramai belia, dewasa dan warga tua turut terjejas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kanak-kanak<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kanak-kanak lelaki menunjukkan gejala ADHD secara berbeza daripada kanak-kanak perempuan. Kanak-kanak lelaki menunjukkan lebih banyak gejala luaran, contohnya berlari. Manakala, kanak-kanak perempuan menunjukkan gejala dalaman, contohnya rendah diri. Oleh kerana kanak-kanak lelaki lebih menunjukkan simptom luaran, mereka lebih berkemungkinan didiagnosis berbanding kanak-kanak perempuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Budak Lelaki<br>-ImpulsifHiperaktifKurang -perhatian<br>-Keagresifan fizikal<br>-Berbual berlebihan<br>-Mengganggu orang lain<\/td><td>Perempuan<br>-TerpeliharaKurang keyakinan diri<br>-Kurang mampu kawal emosiKesukaran dengan pencapaian akademik<br>-Perhatian mudah teralihNampak tak dengarBercakap kasar<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Belia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Belia mengalami rentang perhatian yang lemah dan mudah diketepikan, sama seperti kanak-kanak ADHD. Walaupun gejala ADHD kelihatan kurang teruk pada peringkat ini, beberapa gejala mungkin masih berterusan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ini termasuk:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cabaran akademik<\/li><li>Konflik hubungan<\/li><li>Ketidakseimbangan mood dan&nbsp;<\/li><li>Keturunan harga diri<\/li><li>Peningkatan pengambilan risiko<\/li><li>Kurang tidur<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dewasa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kesamaan ADHD tanpa mengira umur adalah hiperaktif, impulsif dan kurang perhatian. Tetapi apa yang membezakan ADHD dewasa daripada ADHD remaja ialah hiperaktif lebih dirasai secara dalaman. Gejala kurang perhatian juga berterusan dengan lebih kuat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tempat kerja sangat mempengaruhi orang dewasa dengan ADHD, seperti:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Melepas tarikh akhir&nbsp;<\/li><li>Tidak menghadiri perhimpunan sosial<\/li><li>Cetusan kemarahan&nbsp;<\/li><li>Ketidaksabaran<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Warga tua<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Memandangkan tidak banyak kajian telah dilakukan mengenai ADHD di kalangan warga tua, sukar untuk mendiagnosis warga tua dengan ADHD. Sebaliknya, mereka kadangkala salah didiagnosis dengan keadaan penuaan lain seperti demensia atau penurunan kognitif. Walau bagaimanapun, terdapat beberapa gejala biasa pada mereka yang telah didiagnosis dengan ADHD:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Memori tidak pasti<\/li><li>Isu memori kerja (working memory)<\/li><li>Melupakan kata-kata<\/li><li>Fikiran menjadi kosong<\/li><li>Kesukaran mempelajari perkara baru<\/li><li>Bercakap berlebihan<\/li><li>Mengganggu orang lain<\/li><li>Rumah yang tidak teratur<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kesimpulan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jika anda mengesyaki bahawa anda mempunyai ADHD, jangan takut untuk mendapatkan bantuan! Kebanyakan diagnosis adalah meyakinkan kerana orang akhirnya boleh menangani punca asas masalah mereka. Dari situ, mereka secara beransur-ansur belajar menguruskannya dengan rawatan yang sesuai.
