DO THESE SOUND FAMILIAR?

Are you navigating these challenges?

ADHD shows up differently for everyone.
Our counsellors understand the nuances.
They meet you where you are.

🌀

Difficulty focusing or staying on task

Racing thoughts, constant distractions, and projects left half-finished can leave you exhausted and frustrated.

😤

Emotional overwhelm & burnout

ADHD often brings intense emotions. The cycle of overextending, crashing, and trying again takes a toll.

🤝

Struggles in relationships

Impulsivity, forgetting commitments, or zoning out mid-conversation can strain even the closest relationships.

⏰

Time blindness & procrastination

Knowing what needs to be done, but not being able to start, is one of the most common and often misunderstood experiences associated with ADHD.

💭

Low self-esteem & self-doubt

Years of being told to “just try harder” can leave deep wounds. You may feel broken, but you are not.

🎓

Work & school performance

Underperforming despite your intelligence is painful. ADHD isn't a lack of effort; it's a difference in how your brain works.

CLIENT STORIES

Real people. Real change.

"Living with ADHD has always made me feel out of place. I didn't quite fit in and struggled heavily with self-acceptance. Through counselling at Unlocking ADHD, I've learned to better understand myself and approach my feelings with more compassion.

I truly appreciate the safe and encouraging space created by them, the effort my counsellor has put in to connect, and the courage they have sparked in me to embrace who I am. It is definitely still a long journey ahead, but I am hopeful I'll get to where I want to be eventually."

— Working adult with ADHD

"As the parent of a teenager with ADHD, we were going through a difficult period. He was dealing with anxiety, feeling lost, and although he knew he needed help, he was very reluctant to open up. I ended up connecting with Kenny.

Kenny's candid and cheerful nature, plus his ability to connect with youths made the difference. It's not easy to get a teen to open up or even want to continue seeing a counsellor, but Kenny made my son feel safe and understood from the start. His approach of gently encouraging has helped him open up at his own pace. It's reassuring that my son now has someone he trusts and can talk to outside the family.

I'm truly grateful for the genuine care and support provided by Kenny and his team."
